I usually prefer to write a focused letter of intent but this is a generic one that might fit broadly in any sector without having a concentration in mind.
This is a very old letter I wrote it to the first company I worked for: libanweb

This is another recent cover letter written recently for a managerial opening at an incubator center in Qatar
To whom it might concern,
I have seen the incubator management post for “Qatar Business
Incubation Center (QBIC)” and it attracts my attention for various reasons.
Entrepreneurship is my passion and I have been in this field as a teacher,
serial entrepreneur, startup mentor and consultant. In fact, my LinkedIn
profile is best recommended for Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Leadership,
Management and Startups.
For the past two decades, I have launched three startups in Lebanon,
Canada and Saudi Arabia. I have also studied and taught entrepreneurship at
John Molson School of Business whether for students’ entrepreneurship, hi-tech,
or social and sustainable startups. I have also participated in various
incubators programs in Montreal.
I am sure I will have impressive toolbox and added value that I can
contribute to the programs of QBIC in terms of entrepreneurs’’ selection,
support, technical analysis, R&D resources, and business plan review,
coaching, consultation and growth strategic plans. In addition, I can work with
advanced startup on acquiring the right lean tools and systems to boost their
productivity and profitability chances.
I would like to thank you in advance for the consideration of my
application and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Bilal Abdul Kader, MBA, PhDc
